Welcome!!

"Young children need to be given time to BE as well as BECOME!"

OUR GOALS: Our program promotes standards that reflect current knowledge of best practices in Christian pre-school education.

In a caring, nurturing, Christ-centered environment, the children participate in developmentally-appropriate, first-hand, sensory experiences to support literacy learning. Knowledge is a construction and cannot evolve without experiences.

We provide many opportunities for self-discovery in a safe, warm, and inviting atmosphere.

We provide for children's intellectual/inquiry, spiritual, social, emotional, and physical growth. We feel that this multi-faceted approach helps children maintain a positive self-concept in new situations.

Children manipulate concrete objects to find answers, which involves active instead of passive learning. This style helps children become better thinkers, encourages developing language and communication skills, and helps children move gradually to ever-increasing levels of abstraction and symbolism.

OUR FOCUS : Our focus is on the children, their interests and needs, rather than commercial programs. Learning materials focus on engaging problem solving and other higher-order thinking skills. The children participate in activities designed to enhance creativity.
We look for opportunities to support the domains of children's development during play activities and daily routines.

Children are given opportunities to make choices to help them develop decision-making skills.

OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES : Outdoor exploration time is an integral part of children's skill development and learning.
Field trips are first-hand experiences that expand children's vocabulary.

"Many are the times we will be taught, many are the times we will teach, but only once a child!!
